Bold Quest 09 begins Tuesday

Just posted a story about Bold Quest 09, a USJFCOM capability assessment that will test the ability of air assets to identify ground assets in the hope of mitigating friendly fire incidents. The exercise runs from Oct. 27-Nov. 5, and we’ll be providing constant coverage throughout. See the story here.

  1. Have you thought about the issues of Spectrum on the battle field as it pertains to development of MODE 5 and have you invited some of their developers, to see if concepts could be played or simulated to understand impacts given the (as-is vs. the to-be) model once these systems come into play.

Army, Air Force, and Navy systems development need to be exercised other wise a missed chance to test or develop a realistic set testing scenarios.

Wish I could come and visit as see how SFARs developed by the FAA can effect outcomes in Iraqi or Afghanistan Airspace. Has anyone thought about that?

    Let me know?
