Maj. Gen. Kevin Kennedy addressed a community of DCGS users, program offices and developers at a USJFCOM-sponsored conference, which ran Oct. 27-29. He discussed with the 1,100 attendees the importance of command and control, and how it allows the warfighters to make faster, more informed decisions down range.
He told the audience that DCGS is about leader-centric, net-enabled command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and recconaissance enabling to execute commander’s intent rapidly.
