- A program analyst announcement working in our Chief Information Officer’s office in Norfolk.
- An announcement for multiple interdisclipinary jobs requires skills in operation research, program management, life cycle management, cross domain solutions, engineering, and computer science. Applicants must be familiar with computer applications used in modeling and simulation, database management, project management, systems engineering, and engineering design. These positions are at the Joint Systems Integration Center in Suffolk.

What does that mean? Well, here you go…
Incumbent is directly responsible for (20) Joint Working Group (JWG) Lead Action Officers who are assigned outside the Branch but have reporting requirements to the Chief. The Deputy Chief, Force Rotation represents USJFCOM on matters that involve force allocation which cover worldwide current events and initiates a USJFCOM force response when appropriate. Represents the Branch and conveys findings and recommendations in meetings and dealings with senior USJFCOM, Joint Staff and Subordinate Component Commands leadership on issues related to impacting USJFCOM assigned forces. This position will require the incumbent to attend conferences, briefings, speeches, presentations, and may require extemporaneous response to unexpected or hostile questioning. Manages the branch’s complex, joint operations activities and coordinates the actions of all persons and plans work, sets priorities and schedules work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work. Develops performance standards and evaluates employee performance. Provides technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction. Interviews candidates and recommends hiring, promotions etc.
